My Style… Modern-Vintage with a splash of Country Flair.
First of all, I am all about having fun! Our goal at Posh Photography is to create a fun environment for your session. There are no uncomfortable poses or cheesy fake backgrounds. Fake backgrounds are a big no no here at Posh. God created this gorgeous, gigantic Earth and I’m all about exploring and shooting in new and exciting places! While I still love capturing traditional-style photographs, I like to take a more artistic, photojournalist approach during my sessions. I also love high-end FASHION and love incorporating it into my sessions. I want to capture true ART, something you can hang on your living room wall to display and stare at for years to come. We encourage our clients to interact with each other in a relaxed stress-free environment and prefer to capture REAL emotion.

As former brides, we both know about all the in-depth details of a wedding, how important your wedding photographs are and the chemistry you share with your photographer. Both, Brittany and Angie, are great listeners, warm, perceptive and never formulaic. How many years of experience do you have as a photographer?
About 2 years ago, I bought my first Digital SLR camera and never put it down. Then Posh Photography was born. I never knew that I had this passion in me that was dying to get out. While I have always been a painter, photography has become my passion and my heart. I still LOVE to paint and often paint what I photograph and photograph what I paint. Confusing huh? I did hours and hours, day upon day research and practiced and practiced, laughed and cried, until I thought I was good enough to make moolah. I still cannot believe that I have made my dream a reality and people ask me how to start their own business and want to learn from me! It’s truly been an amazing year!
What we shoot…
Posh Photography specializes in unique portraits and weddings. We shoot a variety of subjects including, but not limited to, engagements, bridals, newborns, maternity, teens & the young at heart.
All of our weddings include coverage by two photographers, Angie and Brittany. One of us will stay with the Bride and one of us with the Groom- capturing images of the girls/guys getting ready and other details. During the ceremony and reception we work together to capture all the great moments of your special day.
How we shoot (our equipment)…
We use professional Canon cameras and lenses only. Currently I shoot with the Canon 5D and my backup camera is the Canon 40D. Everything is 100% digital. We always bring backup equipment for every wedding and portrait session.
Are you the person who will photograph my wedding?
Absolutely! Posh Photography & Designs is me, Angie Matthews! Brittany Galindo is also a professional photographer who will always second shoot with me. She is cool, I wouldn’t have someone un-cool shoot with me.
How do you typically dress for weddings?
Usually I like to dress in all black. I like to dress comfortable, because usually I’m on the ground, bending over, entertaining children trying to get that perfect smile, etc. I dress very presentable at weddings. If you have a certain look that you would like, feel free to talk to me about it.
Can you retouch negatives?
I shoot digital, so there are no negatives. A digital file can be retouched and all your images will be fully color corrected and adjusted for maximum beauty.
Can I get all pictures on CD? Who has the rights to the pictures?
I retain all copyrights to all images taken by me. When you purchase your digital files, a copyright release is give for PERSONAL use only
Planning your session (where we shoot)…
We do not have a dedicated studio. Instead we prefer to shoot at locations that reflect your unique personality. When planning your session we’ll find out what kind of ideas you have and offer suggestions. Consider your interests, hobbies, latest obsessions, etc. You’re welcome to call or email us anytime concerning your session, we are never too busy. Please note that some locations (Botanic Gardens, Clark Gardens, Chandor Gardens) require an additional fee for photography.
Seeing your photos…
A couple of days after your session we will post a “sneak peek” on our Posh Blog. The rest of your photos will be ready in about 2 weeks for portrait sessions around 4-6 weeks for weddings.
Ordering your photos…
All of your photos will be mailed to you on a CD with high resolution files for you to print wherever you would like. We have several places that we like to refer for professional quality prints.
Getting Your Stuff…
Please allow 2 – 4 weeks for other products. Albums and coffee table books take up to 6-8 weeks.

Reserve your date…
Please call us at 817-201-8522 or email poshphotos@live.com to book your portrait session. You can also visit the calendar section of our website to send us a message for your specific date. For potential wedding clients, a complimentary consultation will be scheduled.
Weddings…
A 25% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your wedding date with the remaining balance due 2 weeks prior.
Maternity Shoots…
Maternity shoots are best done at about 35 weeks. Before you get too uncomfortable! We will try and be as creative as possible, and create beautiful images of you in full bloom!
Newborns…
Newborn sessions are just that, NEW born! Your brand new baby is best captured as EARLY as possible. Basically within the first 4 to 8 days! At this stage they are in that deep sleep stage, and still able to sleep in that “fetal” position. A lot of preparation and patience goes into these sessions. We like to do these sessions in your home, where we can work with baby’s schedule easier. Newborn sessions generally take up to 2 hours. We will need a lot of wipes on hand! Naked babies equal wetness! You will want to dress light, as we will be using a small heater to warm our shooting area.
Cancellation, Portrait Session…
Cancellations of portrait sessions must be received by phone 48 hours prior to your scheduled date and time.
